Renegade Trail Run is a unique 5K, Rucking 5K, and Looping Distance race set on the Redhead Mountain Bike Park, situated on reclaimed iron ore mineland in northeastern Minnesota. All proceeds benefit United Way of Northeastern Minnesota’s United for Veterans program, which fills gaps in services for local veterans including transportation, housing assistance, crisis funding, retreats, quarterly connection events, and more.
See, feel, and touch Minnesota history at Redhead MTB Park. 100+ years ago, this land brought men and women from across the globe to mine the iron that built our communities, state, and nation. Today, this former iron mine pit, filled with water and covered in trees, is as rugged as the miners who once carved its cliffs – and the bikers, hikers, and runners who now traverse it once again.
