There are several family-friendly races to choose from, perfect for getting active on Thanksgiving Day. The Drumstick Dash 10K is a USATF-certified race that offers a challenging two-lap course around Lake Harriet on the road. The Pi Run is a shorter 3.14159-mile race on the same course (one-lap). The 5K and 10K races are chip-timed by Mtec Results. No strollers or pets are allowed on the course for these two races.
The Cranberry Cruise One Mile is a fun and affordable warm-up run. The Cranberry Kids Half Mile is a great option for children, with parents welcome to run with their kids at no extra cost.
The Drumstick Dash Thanksgiving Day events offer two ways for participants to support our non-profit partner, Mile in My Shoes: donate to Mile in My Shoes when you register to run or participate in the MiMS “FundRacer” program.
