My friends nicknamed me ‘Markathon’, because I’m passionate about running and I appreciate the stamina necessary to train and complete a Marathon. Two years ago, I joined Run Minnesota’s Spring Marathon Class to push myself to accomplish my goal of finishing a marathon under sub four hours (Grandma’s 2018). Along the way, I’ve benefited in so many ways. I have volunteered for many races and running events where I feel pride in giving back to my community and meeting people. I consider myself to be a likable personality to all people while being open to building my experience, relationships and trust with others.
In my career, I am leader of cross-functional international teams and a highly experienced Project Manager with proven success in managing complex projects. I have demonstrated achievements in planning, budgeting, directing and implementing projects on time. This working experience, I believe, can be of value while serving a position on the Run Minnesota board.
Run Minnesota connects the running community and supports runners of all ages and abilities through education, programs, and advocacy. Whether you run socially, recreationally, or competitively, Run Minnesota can help you achieve your running goals.
To run freely. To welcome without limits. To foster community. To support every runner.
