Warrior 196 Memorial 5K Run | Walk | Ruck

The Tenth Annual Warrior 196 Memorial 5K is scheduled for Saturday, 24 September at 9:00 AM, on the campus of Apple Valley High School. The Warrior 196 5K is billed as a run, walk, or ruck event. The race course route starts and finishes on the campus of Apple Valley High School and runs through the paths and streets of residential neighborhoods around the high school.
Proceeds from the 5K support scholarship funds for graduating seniors in Independent School District 196, while honoring and remembering five graduates of the Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan schools who lost their lives while serving in the US Armed Forces from 2006 to 2011. These scholarships pay forward the collective legacy of selfless service toward an objective larger than one’s self.
Since 2013, the Warrior 196 Memorial 5K has helped fund over $100,000 in scholarship dollars.
The event is a family friendly event for the whole community.
