Twin Cities Oktoberfest 5K and Kids Races

The Twin Cities German Immersion School Parent Teacher Organization proudly presents:
Twin Cities Oktoberfest 5K and Kids Races
Saturday October 1st at Como Park South Pavilion, 1199 Midway Parkway, Saint Paul MN 55108

Kids are welcome to sign up for the kids races, which start at 11:30am. It’s a fun and supportive way to race age-appropriate distances in support of our teachers at TCGIS. Your racers will walk away with ribbons after being cheered on by our whole community! Join us at 11am to sign your racers in.

The whole family is invited to sign up for the 5K, which will begin at 12 noon. You can run, walk, jog, crawl and roll your way to the finish line in a family friendly environment. Serious racers and serious fun seekers alike will be rewarded with amazing 5K medals, we’ll have t-shirts available for order, and we can’t wait to see you there. Winners will also receive epic Bavarian steins from M Cornell Imports so they can celebrate their victory in style. Arrive early for your chip and chrono tracking sign in.

Chrono tracking with chips will be available for our racers, and you can expect food trucks and music and fun on site. All of the money that our Twin Cities German Immersion School’s PTO raises through this event directly supports our teaching staff at TCGIS. Danke für Ihre Unterstützung!

Bring your Lederhosen and Dirndl if you have them for the celebration! Our TCGIS PTO will be partnering with the Twin Cities German Immersion School, Waldsee Concordia Language Village (German language camp), the Germanic-American Institute, German American Chamber of Commerce, ECMC, TCGIS Parent Council and Alumni Association to bring this community event to Como.
