Minnesota’s oldest triathlon takes place in the northern suburb of Shoreview at Turtle Lake Park. The sprint distance is a .5 mile swim, 12.5 mile bike and 3.1 mile run. The Olympic distance is a 1 mile swim, 25 mile bike and 6.2 mile run on a paved trail. Perfect for beginners and experienced athletes alike. Aqua bike option for both distances excludes the run. Relay teams encouraged for all distances. The swim is in a pristine lake, the bike course is flat and fast and the run is shaded. A barbecue is offered at the finish. 5 year age groups for awards, three deep. All athletes will receive a custom molded finisher medal. Shirts are optional at an additional charge.
