Join the United Way of 1000 Lakes for its annual Lumberjack Mile & 5K on September 9th. Taking place, the morning of Grand Rapids Riverfest, participants are invited to dress up in their lumberjack best and run, walk, or jog for a good cause. Now in its seventh year, the route features a scenic downtown loop along the Mississippi River. Register at uwlakes.org/lumberjack.
